Raast: Pakistan's Instant Payment System
Raast is Pakistan’s first instant payment system that will enable end-to-end digital payments among individuals, businesses and government entities instantaneously. The state-of-the-art Pakistan’s Faster Payment System will be used to settle small-value retail payments in real time while at the same time provide a cheap and universal access to all players in the financial industry including banks and fintechs.
I worked as a Software Developer in Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan. In this project my major role is to develop middleware web APIs through which the RAAST application connects individuals, businesses and government entities to bank operations for digital payments. I develop three APIs in this project one is for Validations and multiple checks for authentic requests and authentic account details, second API is for Digital payment and the third API is for Payment Inquiry which shows that the transaction has successfully done or not and also shows the reason for failure.
