Roshan Digital Account For Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan

Roshan Digital Account is a unique initiative by State Bank of Pakistan to digitally open a bank account in Pakistan from anywhere in the world. The Roshan Digital Account initiative was launched on September 10, 2020 by the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the millions of Non-Resident Pakistani’s (NRPs) seeking to undertake banking, payment, remittance and investment activities in Pakistan.

I worked as the Software Developer in Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan and I worked as a Lead Developer in this Project. My area and task in this project is to develop all middleware APIs through which the Roshan Digital Account Web Portal and Mobile application talks with Dubai Islamic Bank Core functionalities and Database. I built the APIs for all Core operations of Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan, like Customer and Account Opening, EKYC, Customer and Account Inquiries, Payment and Transactions etc.

Skills Involved:

• C# is used as a backend programming Language.

• Oracle Database is used as a backend and Core Database.

• REST and SOAP APIs development.

• JSON and XML Formats.

• ASP.NET Core is used to develop all APIs.

• Visual studio is used as a development editor.

• PL SQL Developer is used as Oracle Database Editor.

• Oracle Client is used for application and database connectivity.
